Mike Brashear:

Mike Brashear has been working with horses for thirty years. He concentrates on building a solid foundation through natural methods and gentle communication. This helps create a finished horse who is a soft, willing, and responsive partner. Establishing a mindful communication and understanding between horse and rider, and seeing them come together in a partnership, is important. The ultimate goal is for every horse and rider to work as one.

From the round pen and arena to riding outside, Mike’s horsemanship and training techniques have proven to be exceptionally effective. He is excellent at working with riders of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, as well as horses of all sizes and breeds. He is outstanding at helping his students accomplish their horsemanship goals by breaking down lessons and explaining his philosophy in a way that is straightforward and attainable.

Acknowledging that horsemanship is a journey, Mike believes that one should always be a student in order to be an effective teacher. He continues to seek knowledge from his mentors, so he can share those ideals with his students.

Located just north of Denver, in Fort Lupton, Colorado, Mike Brashear services all of Colorado including the Front Range, Western Slope, and Denver Metro area.  Mike is willing to conduct clinics anywhere in the United States.
